Te Kohinga Koha Expo took place on Saturday, 29 November 2025 as part of Te Ōhanga ki te Ao, a landmark event hosted by Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po, which introduced institutional investors to the growing landscape of Māori enterprise, innovation and impact-driven investment opportunities across Aotearoa.
Nui’s role focused on delivering strategic marketing support to Puna Pakihi exhibitors, showcasing the strength of Te Iwi Waikato and Te Iwi Māori as both an entrepreneurial force and a thriving foundation for sustainable economic growth. During this project our team partnered with 16 Waikato-Tainui business owners to design, produce and deliver 62 bespoke assets that would elevate their presence at the expo.
The outcome:
This kaupapa undoubtedly demonstrated how tribal procurement and collaboration can generate localised economic opportunity. Executing this whilst upholding Kiingitanga values of excellence and kotahitanga the project also achieved a strong sense of community, kotahitanga and tautoko.
These values not only allowed the project to strengthen iwi enterprise capability and public representation, but solidified a foundational sense of belonging, pride and mana for pakihi owners in Puna Pakihi as a support network, Waikato-Tainui as a Tribe and Te Kiingitanga as the movement affirming ngā moemoeā o Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po.
